The Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Tournament is the largest moot court tournament in the world. Over 500 teams from more than 80 countries compete to be one of about 100 teams invited to the International Rounds of the tournament.
More information about this year's problem and the Jessup tournament can be found here.
The Penn Jessup team had a successful year. At the Regional Rounds, Penn took First Place and also received an award for the best memorial. Alasdair Henderson took home the Fourth Place speaker award.
The team's success continued at the International Rounds. After three grueling days of preliminary rounds, the team was ranked first of about 100 teams in the tournament. The team's combined score in preliminary rounds was the highest ever achieved in the history of Jessup preliminary rounds.
